Yourprivacy.
What I keep when you sign in or enquire, in plain words.
What I keep
- When you sign in: your email address, your name if you use Google, and how you signed in.
- While you are signed in: the stones you look at, what you search for, and the stones you enquire about. This is how I know what to look for on your behalf.
- A sign-in session: the device and the network address it came from, so that your sign-in is not used by someone else.
- When you enquire: whatever you put in the form or send me on WhatsApp or email.
What I do not do
I do not sell your details or share them for advertising. I do not send marketing unless you ask me to. If you have not signed in, the only thing recorded is anonymous visit and click statistics, which are not tied to your name or email.
Why
To let you browse the full stock, to reply to you, and to understand what people are looking for so the stock and the advice get better. Signing in is your agreement to this.
Who handles it
A few services process your details for me, only to run the site: Google (sign-in), Neon (the database, in the United States), Resend (emails, including your sign-in code), PostHog (visit statistics, in the United States) and Vercel (hosting). Once you sign in, the visit statistics are linked to your account so I can see what you looked at.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days, until you sign out. PostHog keeps a small identifier on your device to count visits. Your choice of dollars or rupees is remembered on your own device. There are no advertising cookies.
Seeing it, changing it, deleting it
Email sales@mke.diamonds and I will send you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and what goes with it. I will do it within a week.
